Some people see expat or immigrants, what I see is someone who was brave enough to leave everything and everyone they know behind.
To pack their lives into a handful of suitcases. To get on a plane with a one way ticket. To travel across the globe. To go live in a place they may never have been before and start a whole new chapter in life.
To me, that’s bravery and strength and that’s exactly what Through My Lens shares. A platform where students of different backgrounds have shared their journey and experiences, their ups and downs but most importantly their achievements. My goal with creating Through My Lens is spread more awareness and positivity. I hope that sharing theses enriching stories will help change the idea of no matter our backgrounds or the colour of our skin, WE ARE ALL ONE
